The IPCC conducts prior art searches and patent application classification outsourced by the JPO. The IPCC has conducted more than 3,500,000 cases of prior art search since 1989 and more than 30,000,000 cases of classification since 1985. The rich experience and accumulated know-how are great strengths of the IPCC, which have made the IPCC a well-trusted organization.

Diverse human resources consisting of more than 1,600 professional engineers covering all the technical fields
The professional engineers of the IPCC are the key to its long history of success. Those professional engineers are originally from more than 200 companies in various fields. The total number of professional engineers currently exceeds 1,600, which is the largest among the registered search organizations (*). The IPCC is the only one among the registered search organizations that can conduct prior art searches and classification in all technical fields.
As a search organization that is rich in human resources and that can cover all the technical fields, the IPCC will make use of its strengths in order to meet various needs of customers such as the outsourcing from the JPO.
